YOGA CLASSES

HEATED VINYASA FLOW

This class is a Vinyasa Hatha blend with an emphasis on foundation & pranayama (the practice of breath-work). This class is fit for beginners to intermediate levels of yoga experience. The room is heated to help relax and loosen muscles into a deeper stretch

This yoga includes mantra, breathing techniques, yoga movements & posters (kriya), and closes with meditation after savasana. Each class focuses on a theme to improve, physical, or emotional health

KUNDALINI

Back to basics yoga is designed to support and encourage students who are new to Yoga or need a refresher. Students can expect calming music, and time to breathe, flow and connect with their minds and body. This class also provides time to reflect and meditate using basic yoga props

BACK TO BASICS YOGA

A deeply relaxing form of yoga where props are used to support the body in each posture. Having the body supported in this way allows the body to hold positions longer and puts the body and mind in a state of relaxation where the body can rest and heal. Typically 4-5 postures/poses are held in each class.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Buti Yoga is a powerful blend of vinyasa-style yoga, tribal dance, strength & conditioning, primal movements, and plyometrics. Using the music to guide the class, this beat allows students to get out of their heads and into their body

BUTI YOGA

YOGA FOUNDATIONS

This class is designed to teach the basic yoga foundations.

GENTLE MORNING YOGA FLOW

This class is a Vinyasa Hatha blend. This class is fit for beginners to intermediate levels of yoga experience. This is a slower-paced class to help students explore the space between postures while maintaining a gentle flow

POWER YOGA

Power Yoga is based on the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series and is designed to get the energy flowing while building power and strength. The primary series is a set sequence, meaning the asana poses and the order in which they are instructed does not change. this class is great for those who struggle with consistency and would to focus on a traditional style of Yoga Asana

STRENGTH & STRETCH

Strength & Stretch is a class designed to improve muscular balance in the body by utilizing different postures and props to challenge the bodies physical strength. The class will wind down with deep stretching practices to relax and soften muscles

HATHA VINYASA BLEND

In this class we’ll blend some Vinyasa, which is when the yoga poses are linked together in a continuous flow put together by the teacher, and Hatha yoga where some poses are held longer, with emphasis on foundation.

Modifications will be offered so the student can decide what to try, depending on how they feel that day and how experienced they are with yoga. Beginners are welcome. Includes meditation, pranayama (breathwork), some yoga philosophy.

ASHTANGA BASED POWER YOGA

This Power Yoga classed is based on the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series and is designed to get the energy flowing while building power and strength. The primary series is a set sequence, meaning the asana poses and the order in which they are instructed does not change. This class is great for those who struggle with consistency and would like to focus on a traditional style of Yoga Asana.

FAMILY YOGA

Get the whole family together for Family Yoga. Parents with their children can attend this class together to get out of the house, and enjoy time together and body movement. This class is suitable for kids ages 5-12

GENTLE & CHAIR BASED YOGA

Feel better in your body and make new friends.  Improve mobility, balance, and muscular strength and in a gentle Yoga class focused on functional movement. 

 

This class also includes mindfulness, grounding, meditation, and breathwork.  

 

Chair based options are included.

HIGH FITNESS

High Fitness is an energetic and fun fitness class for all experience levels. it incorporates interval training with easy-to-follow fitness choreography HIGH fitness is ZERO equipment, full body workout that has been shown to improve overall endurance, stamina, strength, and cardiovascular health. More importantly, HIGH fitness yields extremely important mental health benefits. HIGH fitness is fun, has great music, and is a whole community in itself.

UpBeat Barre is a muscular endurance-based workout that fuses strength training, ballet, toning, yoga, and pilates. Light weights, resistance bands, and barre balls are used during class. Movement and routines follow popular music to create a fun and balanced workout that will have you sweating! Upbeat Barre puts the FUN in functional fitness by utilizing a full range of motion mixed with small muscle movements for a balanced off-set to your cardio workout. The intensity varies and is designed to be inclusive no matter where you are on your fitness journey.

UP-BEAT BARRE

ZUMBA

Zumba fitness takes traditional and cultural dance styles to turn it into a fun workout party! Dance styles can include salsa, merengue, samba, hip-hop and more!

WYLD DANCE

Wyld is a movement class that connects body, mind, and soul. From its beginning in 2009, Wyld has offered a safe and fun place for people of all ages to find freedom and joy in their bodies. In this hour-long dance and meditation class, our trained instructors will guide you through finding a connection with yourself and others. Together, we will create an authentic space for playfulness, growth, and connection.


Wyld is a raw, honest, and inclusive place to let go, be free, and find happiness. You don’t have to be anyone or anything other than yourself when you attend one of our classes. Prepare yourself to burn 350 to 700 calories and hit 7,000 steps when completing just one class.

MEDITATION & SOUND

MEDITATION

Meditation works by bringing awareness to the present moment. Breath-work helps to relax the body and ease the mind reducing stress. Meditation can improve mental health and reduce and anxiety and increase the well-being of students

BODY RESET

Reset your nervous system in this class that involves gentle movement and mindful meditation. This class involves somatic practices which help the body develop new movement patterns and is beneficial for reducing pain and increasing mobility, flexibility, and performance. 


Tai Chi is a gentle series of movements combined with deep breathing and imagery to promote whole-body integration, relaxation, and health.

TAI CHI

Mats, cushions, pillows, blankets, weights, bands, and yoga blocks are available if needed

DANCE CLASSES

LINE DANCING

Line dancing is a form of choreographed country style dance typically performed in a line/rows. Everyone is learning and doing the same moves but adding flares of their own style. Line dances are taught weekly (some will be taught all in one class and others will be built upon in multiple weeks). This is a class everyone can enjoy! It's time to get your boots on, get loose, get stomping and have fun!

LATIN DANCE

Learn traditional Latin Dancing! Dance styles will include merengue, bachata, salsa, & cha cha.  The first 40 minutes of class will be guided instructions and the second half of class will be for practicing the dances you’ve learned at your own pace and to have fun!

*Partners for this class are preferred but not necessary

OUTDOOR CLASSES

**If weather does not permit classes will be held at Yoga Wellness Connection Studio 

 

Come enjoy the beautiful summer weather with outdoor yoga at the Japanese Friendship Garden alongside the Snake River! Classes will consist of yoga, breathwork and meditation and is appropriate for all levels of experience.

 

Meet at the deck near the Broadway bridge on the East side of the river. Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes early in order to give time to orient yourself and get set up.
